"A Simple Background, Is A Better Background"
Facebook Backgrounds happens to be a very popular search term just now. People from all over the world are looking to get a Facebook background to change the appearance of their profile. I thought it would be helpful to create this post to clear up a lot of the confusion surrounding the Facebook backgrounds and layouts market.
Can I Really Get a Facebook Background On My Profile?
Yes you can, but there is a catch. You see there is a program called 'Page Rage' which allows you to apply Facebook backgrounds and layouts to your profile for free, however only people that have downloaded and installed the plugin by 'Page Rage' are able to see the layouts. So what does this mean for you? Well, you can still go ahead and do this, after all it is 100% Free, however it is best if you make your friends aware of this too so that they can also download and install the plugin. This means that both yourself and all of your friends will be able to view each others Facebook profiles and the awesome layouts you choose to go with them :-)

There is a massive spike in the amount of people looking for "Twitter Backgrounds" lately so I decided to write about it and hopefully point everyone in the right direction so that they can get some for free.
How Do I Actually Add A Background To Twitter?
I thought it would be best to go over the steps you need to follow so that you know exactly what is needed to apply a background to your twitter page. I have outlined what needs to be done below in useful series of steps:
Obviously the first thing you do is log in to your Twitter account. Then click on 'Settings'
You should then come to a page with more tabs, select 'Design'
Once you have clicked on the 'Design' tab you will see a selection of themes below. If you look below these themes you will see it has two options; 'Change Background Image' or 'Change Design Colors'.
If you want add your very own background, or one that you have already downloaded, then select 'Change Background Image'. You can then browse your computer to find a background image that you want to be used on your twitter page.
Obviously this has a great deal of advantages. You could create your very own unique background image and then upload it to your page, talk about making your page stand out! You also have the option of uploading your own photos of maybe yourself, your pets, your social life or family. The options are endless...

I have also added the relevant color codes that you will need when changing the 'Design Colors' so that the background looks exactly as it is meant too.
